Jesse Skramstad, founder and president of NDT Solutions, Inc. (NDTS), has worked closely with the United States Air Force, The Boeing Company, Northrop Grumman, Gulfstream Aerospace, Cirrus Design, Texas Composite, The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and several airlines in the research and development of innovative solutions for the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Field.

 

Currently, NDTS is in a multi-year collaboration with the Air Force Research

 Laboratory Materials and Manufacturing Directorate to develop and adapt the

  transient eddy current technology for application into several of the Air Force’s existing automated C-Scan systems.

 

Sandia National Laboratories, Aging Aircraft NDI Validation Center (AANC) has utilized his expertise to develop inspection procedures for the DC9 Center Wing Tee Cap, as well as the DC-10/MD11 crown splice inspection process.

 

Throughout his thirty plus year career, Mr. Skramstad’s solutions to complex NDT inspection requirements have earned him the reputation as an innovative and creative thinker. He has co-authored several authoritative papers and procedures that have singled him out as an expert in the NDT Field.
